We contacted Factory Direct Garage Doors two weeks ago and spoke to Colin. He provided great information and a super competitive price for a new sectional (double) garage door. The following week Colin came out and did a thorough measurement and explained the install process in great detail. To our surprise, days later Mark called us to advise that our garage door was ready to be installed! Super quick and efficient service and exactly what we were hoping for. Another stand out difference to other quotes was the difference in warranty; 10 years which no one else was able to get close to. We’re chuffed with our new garage door and could not be happier with how it looks, how quiet the motor is and how smooth it opens/closes. Had a garage door installed. Very happy with the result. Factory direct we found to be cheapest of the quotes we received, initially we had some concerns after reading some of the other google reviews posted, but we went ahead with them and all went well. Very pleasant dealing with James who visited multiple times as we had a few further questions that came up. The installers did a great job and were very professional. Mark also gave us some DIY instructions on how to maintain the door with a spray. Quotes we received from other companies required we regularly service the door at our expense to be covered under the warranty, which would significantly add to the overall cost. Also worth mentioning our door required a 35mm taper as the floor wasnt completely flat, this was identified and measured and all sits flush with the concrete. The vicway motor they use (which i hadnt heard of before) operates quietly and smoothly, no issues there. Overall very happy
